          MoU Inked between Tejarat Bank and UNICEF
          A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was inked between Tejarat Bank and United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) in the field of offering innovative strategies to provide quality services to children living in disadvantaged and underprivileged regions of Iran, the Public Relations Dept. of the bank reported.

          This Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was inked on Sunday May 6, 2018, based on which, it was envisioned that Tejarat Bank and UNICEF will work together in line with supporting the Fund’s comprehensive plans in Iran. For his part, AlirezaMehrjoo Deputy CEO of Tejarat Bank said, “Tejarat Bank has always been outstanding and pioneer in the international arena and we are very happy to increase our activities in the field of social responsibility by signing and sealing this MoU and we are proud of it.” Tejarat Bank has always provided diverse social services such as participating in the field of constructing schools and health houses, helping earthquake-hit people and releasing prisoners, he said, adding, “Tejarat Bank has thus far taken effective steps in the field of offering quality services to the less advantaged class of society comprehensively.” Singing and sealing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with UNICEF complements this humanitarian activity and “we are confident that these activities will continue extensively in future.” In the end, Deputy Chief Executive of Tejarat Bank said, “relying upon the assistance of the Almighty God, Tejarat Bank will make its utmost effort to materialize objectives of its humanitarian activities in the current Iranian calendar year in 1397 (started March 21, 2018).” Will Parks UNICEF Representative in Iran was the next speaker who said, “Tejarat Bank is a well-known and leading bank in the international arena and UNICEF is pleased to sign this Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with this prestigious bank.” Of course, such cooperation has already been established between UNICEF and Tejarat Bank, he said, adding, “upon signing and sealing this MoU, cooperation between Tejarat Bank and UNICEF has entered the new phase in the field of supporting children.” To conclude his remarks, he said, “in line with fulfilling its social responsibilities, Tejarat Bank has established very close cooperation and collaboration with domestic and foreign philanthropic organizations such as World Food Program (WFP), State Welfare Organization (SWO), MAHAK Charity Center, Imam Khomeini Relief Committee (IKRC) and Kahrizak Charity Foundation and Nursing Home for the Disabled, the Public Relations Dept. of the bank ended.
